Man arrested after police officer assaulted in Aylesbury

A police officer has been assaulted in Aylesbury.

An Arla HGV driver allegedly attacked the officer outside the Holiday Inn on Aston Clinton Road last Thursday (7/3).

A police car was also damaged during the incident, at around 6pm.

The incident happened near the Holiday Inn in Aylesbury

A 47 year old male has been arrested and released under investigation.

An Arla spokesperson told us:

“We take any reports of concern over the driving or behaviours of our employees very seriously.

"The Arla employee involved in this incident has been temporarily suspended whilst we look into this matter further.”
