Two more arrests over Aylesbury attempted murder

After a man was shot in the face, hand & body in Aylesbury, two more people have been arrested.

The shooting, being treated as attempted murder, happened back in December on North Drive, close to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

A man in his twenties was shot and suffered significant injuries to his hand, face and body.

A 17-year-old boy and a 35-year-old woman, both from Aylesbury, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and possession of a firearm.

They are currently in police custody.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector James Mather, of Aylesbury police station, said:

“These arrests were made in connection with the discovery of a firearm, which is believed to be linked to the incident.

“We would like to continue to appeal for anyone with information regarding the incident in December last year to come forward and help us with our investigation.

A 20-year-old man from Aylesbury, who was arrested on 14 December, and a 19-year-old man, also from Aylesbury, arrested on 10 December, were released under investigation.

A 17-year-old boy from Aylesbury was charged with one count of attempted murder and a count of possession a firearm with intent to endanger life on 13 March.
