A challenge with a glamorous twist is happening in Aylesbury this evening (12th April).

When we will most likely be in bed, Kirsty Hern, from Berryfields, will be painting nails for 24 hours.

Kirsty's nail-a-thon is all to raise money for Leukaemia UK, after a close family friend was diagnosed last year.

She is starting the challenge at 6pm this evening, with 24 appointments booked in each lasting an hour.

Kirsty hopes to finish at 6pm tomorrow night (13th April).

There will also be a BBQ, a raffle, food and drink to keep Kirsty going throughout the night.

Kirsty has already raised £500 for Leukaemia from her appointments

Kirsty's efforts have already raised a lot of money and you can pop down to her nail studio at 2 Pixie Road, Berryfields to make a donation during her nail-a-thon.

But, she isn't the only one raising money for Leukaemia UK, a number of Kirsty's friends from Aylesbury are doing a skydive for the charity.

All together they've raised over £4,000 and would love your support.

You can donate to their efforts here.
