Fire engines on scene of Aylesbury crash

Triple roundabout Bicester / Oxford Road / New Street

Fire engines are currently on the scene of a crash in the centre of Aylesbury this evening (16th April).

The incident has happened near to The Royal Bucks roundabout on Bicester Road.

Update: Bucks Fire has told us five vehicles are involved and they are currently releasing a person who is injured.

While emergency services deal with the incident, police are diverting traffic at The Gatehouse roundabout.

There are long delays on Bicester Road, past Broadfields.

It's also effecting a number of routes including:

  • New Street
  • Weedon Road
  • Elmhurst Road 

Update at 6:51pm: The traffic is beginning to clear.

Transport for Buckinghamshire are warning motorists of the delays and to avoid the area if you can.
