Over 5,400 children in Buckinghamshire will go to their parents' first-choice primary this September.

School places were sent out on Tuesday, on National Offer Day.

90.2 per cent of families got their top option, working out at 5,419 children.

6,008 applications went in this year to Bucks County Council.

They told us 355 children got their second preference, while 84 were allocated their third.

Only 103 didn't get matched with a top-three choice. The same percentage as last year.
