Arrests made following tool thefts across Aylesbury Vale

2 men have been arrested after being stopped on the A5

This comes after the sighting of a male that Police wanted to talk to in connection with a number of tool thefts from vans across Aylesbury Vale.

Buckingham NHPT had support from the Roads Policing team and Armed Response Vehicle officers to help them safely stop the vehicle on the A5, Milton Keynes. 

As a result of this:

  • A 24 year old male from Slapton has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit theft from motor vehicles (tools from vans) across Winslow District and suspicion of theft of a caravan.
  • A 21 year old male from Nash has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a caravan.

Police recovered a vehicle believed to be used in crime as well as the caravan which they suspect to be stolen.
