Witness Appeal following affray in Aylesbury

Police are appealing for witnesses after the windscreen of a taxi was smashed and two men were injured during an altercation.

It happened between 4am and 4.15am on Bank Holiday Monday (6/5) when Police received reports of an altercation outside Mirage Bar in Buckingham Street.

The taxi windscreen was smashed outside Taste of Poland and the man with a cut to his head was treated at hospital and later discharged.

The second man received a cut to his arm.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Jemma Tamplin, of Force CID based at Aylesbury police station, said:

“I believe that some witnesses filmed this incident and am therefore urging these people to get in touch with police.

“Similarly, if anybody else witnessed this incident, or has dash-cam footage from the area, please contact police.”
