More details on Aylesbury's new mega GP surgery

More plans have been revealed for Aylesbury's new mega GP surgery.

Berryfields and Meadowcroft are going to combine into one site on Berryfields, including minor surgery space and areas for other agencies to meet clients.

The plans show the new building on the corner of Paradise Orchard and Martin Dalby Way - the link road - with the car park behind.

Eventually, a care home and nursery will be built nearby, alongside the shops already on their way.

The proposals say the set up will innovate the way doctors work.

This new building would be split over three floors, with areas divided up into smaller areas, each with a reception area and waiting room.

Minor surgery could be carried out on-site, as could dental work.

It means more of a community facility will be created, not just a GP practise.

You can read more of the proposals on the AVDC website.
