UPDATED: Reports car hits pedestrian in Aylesbury

We've had reports a car has collided with a pedestrian on a busy Aylesbury road this afternoon (21st May).

Traffic is heavy on Tring Road, especially heading into Aylesbury.

As of 4:40pm motorists are backed up to Consult Pharmacy.

The incident looks like it's happened just outside Majestic Wine.

Emergency services are on the scene:

Update at 5:14pm:

The South Central Ambulance Service has told us they received a 999 call just before 4:30pm.

A cyclist, a 17-year-old female, had come off her bike. 

She only sustained minor injuries and after being treated at the scene she was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for further assessment.

The road is now clear.
