Man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in High Wycombe

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident of erratic driving in High Wycombe on Monday (10/6)

It happened at around 2.55am in Frogmoor when a black VW Caddy was in a collision with a 20 year old man.

The offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins of medium build, with medium length brown hair and light brown facial hair. He was wearing a dark coloured jumper and dark jeans.

A 30 year-old man from High Wycombe, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.

He has been released on Police bail until 7 July

Investigating officer PC Richard Lunn based at High Wycombe police station, said:

“We believe there were a large number of people who may have seen this incident.

“We would like to speak to these witnesses and anyone with further information.

“There could be mobile phone footage of this incident and we would ask that rather than share this on social media, please report it and share it with Police to help with this investigation.

“There could also be CCTV in the area or dash-cam footage which could also provide important information.”
