Aylesbury footballer in World Cup Semi Final

Ellen White from Aylesbury is looking to secure a place in the Womens World Cup Final.

England are just one step away from their first ever final in the Womens World Cup, but first the Lionesses need to beat the defending champions and world number one side the USA.

Ellen is currently a joint top scorer in the tournament alongside Alex Morgan (USA), Megan Rapinoe (USA) and Sam Kerr (Australia)

Sharon Wilson the Assistant Head Teacher at The Grange School that Ellen attended told us how she is extremely inspirational:

"When we think about one of our students that was here from 2000 and she left us in 2005 - to actually see her grow and progress in her footballing career is amazing. It's fantastic to have such a positive role model for all students, not just the girls, but all of the students. It's wonderful."

England take on the USA at 8pm tonight in Lyon.
