Charity disco for Aylesbury families suffering miscarriage

An event in Aylesbury is hoping to raise money for two vital charities this evening.

Emily Solmon, from Aylesbury, has put together a charity disco raising money for The Princes Trust and the Snowdrop room at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

It's after Emily suffered a traumatic miscarriage and she now want to help others in the same situation.

The Snowdrop room at the local hospital is a room for parents going through this difficult time and is in need of some home comforts, such as pictures, bedding and cushions.

A raffle will also be going on with lots of prizes

Money will also be raised for The Princes Trust who provide real hair wigs for children and young people.

On the fundraising Emily said:

"I have also lost a close family member to cancer and have realised how the loss of hair can make people feel, and how having a wig can restore some dignity.

"I have been growing my hair to have it cut off to send to the princess trust and would also like to send the funds to have the wig made."

The event will include a disco, auction and raffle, opportunity to purchase food and drink on the night and is also family friendly.
