Man wanted after attempted murder in Chesham

A man is wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Chesham.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to trace Junaid Nasir.

The 22-year-old, of no fixed abode is wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Alexander Street at the junction with Berkhampstead Road in Chesham yesterday (18/7).

He is an Asian man, with black hair and brown eyes. He is of medium build and around 6ft tall.

He is known to frequent Chesham.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector James Mather of Aylesbury Force CID, said:

“We would urgently like to trace Junaid Nasir.

“If you see him please do not approach him but call 999 immediately.

“If you have information about where he may be, please contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting 43190218922 or make a report online.

“Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
