Local artists given chance to perform in Haddenham

Bands and artists in Buckinghamshire are being given the chance to perform at a new festival.

Organisers of Feast Festival, happening in Haddenham in September, have come up with the idea.

Rock in the Village Hall is a unique event for Haddenham, reflecting the diversity of the village's cultural tastes.

The event is headlined by 'Bad Solution', an Anglo-Polish hi-energy progressive metal band.

But the event also provides a stage for showcasing and encouraging the talents of local young musicians, by offering them the chance to be a supporting band to the main act.

The opportunity is open to any local band or group, of any musical genre, so long as they're under-20.

Those interested should send video or audio examples of their work to thefeastfest@gmail.com

You can also upload your video to their Facebook page, and let your fans tell organiser why you should get the gig.

There is a limit to the number of supporting acts, so the advice is apply as soon as possible.
