Shop worker attacked in Tring

A shop in Tring has been robbed, with a member of staff attacked.

The Co-Op on Silk Mill Way in the town was targeted on Sunday night, at around 9pm.

A man was reported to have been punched in the face by another man after he tried to stop him from getting behind the kiosk.

The suspect then left the store in an unknown direction.

 

The suspect is described as a black man who looked to be in his late thirties and around 5ft 8in tall of medium build.

He wore a blue gilet with a grey top underneath and a green baseball cap.

An investigation looking into the incident is underway and anyone who has any information that could assist with police enquiries are encouraged to call 101, quoting 41/75013/19.
