Man threatened with a knife in High Wycombe

A man has been threatened with a knife in High Wycombe.

The man in his thirties was approached by another man at around 9.30pm on Thursday (15/8) in the Morrisons car park on Parker Knoll Way.

Investigating officer, PC Mark Palethorpe, based at High Wycombe police station said:

“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“I would also ask drivers to check any dash-cam footage that they may have from the car park around the time of the incident in case it has captured anything that could assist us with this investigation.  

“Anyone with information can call the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 43190252650, or make a report online.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

A 39 year old man, of no fixed abode was arrested and has been released on police bail until 12/9.
