More engineering works affecting Bucks trains

Published by Dan Gooding at 4:30pm 21st September 2019.

A line closure between High Wycombe and London will affect trains in Buckinghamshire tomorrow (Sun).

The closure will allow Network Rail to carry out track replacement work in the Beaconsfield area.

A heavily amended timetable will be in operation and journey times will be longer than usual, with passengers needing to travel via diverted and/or alternative routes and/or on rail replacement buses.

Customers are advised to:

  • Allow additional time for their journey
  • Check their journey before travelling
  • Purchase tickets in advance from our website or via the Chiltern app to save time at stations and guarantee the best value fare.
