Lollipop lady verbally abused in Aylesbury

A lollipop lady in Aylesbury has been verbally abused whilst trying to do her job.

It happened on Bedgrove yesterday.

A driver shouted at her, parked up, came back to shout at her some more and took her photo.

A letter to parents of Bedgrove Junior School said she had been shaken but was being supported by police.

Later on last night, officers said they have arrested a man on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

It's after a vehicle was allegedly spotted with number plates which didn't belong to it and was seen being driven erratically.

The driver reportedly shouted at a crossing patroller.

Police say the accused has spent the night in custody to appear in court today, after failing to turn up to a hearing in July.
