17-year-old stabbed in the head in Chesham

A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed in the head in Chesham.

Between 7.30pm and 8pm on Wednesday (18th Sep), the victim was assaulted by a group of offenders while he was in a Peri Peri Chicken shop in Market Square.

The victim received a stab injury to his head and was taken to hospital for treatment.

He has since been discharged.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector James Mather, of Aylesbury police station, said:

"I am appealing for witnesses to this incident during which a 17-year-old boy received a stab wound requiring hospital treatment.

"It happened in a public area where I believe there is a realistic chance that it was witnessed by some people.
