There are worries about whether emergency services can get in and out of Great Missenden, because of HS2 works.

Campaigners say they have had to move bollards and cones to let fire engines and ambulances through on the Link Road.

It is after calls for the work to be put off until the review is over.

Campaign group Stop HS2 have been in the village today, documenting the scene.

There have been disagreements over who is responsible for these works: Bucks County Council or HS2 Limited.

The Council originally asked for the road to be widened, but have changed their stance:

An HS2 spokesperson said:

“Safety is our number one priority and our contractors work closely with the local highways authority to ensure that disruption to traffic during these works are kept to a minimum.

“Our traffic management team were on site to ensure that emergency vehicles could pass and that traffic flowed.”
