14-year-old boy robbed in Buckingham

A 14-year-old boy has been robbed in a park in Buckingham.

At 7.13am on Wednesday (16/10), the victim was cycling through Bourton Park when he was forcefully stopped by a man who accused him of stealing his bike.

The man then attempted to take the victims bicycle and pushed the victim to the ground twice. The victim managed to get up and leave with the bike.  

The offender shouted threats at the victim.

The victim was not injured during this incident and nothing was stolen.

The offender is described as a man in his twenties or thirties, with a slim-build, a blonde-brown goatee beard and had a dishevelled appearance.

He was wearing a black padded jacket and black trousers.

Case investigator Charles Small, based at Aylesbury police station said

"This was a frightening experience for the victim who was doing a paper round at the time.

"I am appealing for anyone who was in the area around this time who may have witnessed this incident or if you believe you saw the man described to please get in touch.
