Customers 'out of pocket' after Bucks company stops trading

A woman has potentially lost her savings after a Buckinghamshire company stopped trading.

Polyjumps, based in Great Kimble, sold dog agility equipment but their answer machine confirms they have 'ceased trading'.

Mix96 tried to get in contact with them for a comment, but is waiting for a response.

We've spoken to Chris Lewis who bought from Doggyjumps for the first time this summer.

She spent £1,100 on equipment with an added charge of over £100 for delivery on an order she never received.

"I'm disgusted with them to be honest, because at the end of the day we supplied the money to them in good faith hoping that the goods would be received.

"Then when we spent the extra money for the delivery charge we assumed the goods were either on their way or ready to be shipped."

Weeks have gone by and Chris still hasn't received her order.

She tried to contact them to find out if she will get her money back but has had no luck:

"We've been in touch with our bank and it's very unlikely we're going to get any of our money back.

"So, that's nearly £1,100 of our savings gone."

Chris isn't the only customer who's worried they won't get their money back.

She told us she's spoken to a number of people affected:

"There was someone else who ordered equipment a fortnight ago and they aren't going to get their equipment.

"My answer is - they surely knew a fortnight ago that they were going under, why were they still taking orders?"

We are waiting for a statement from Polyjumps.
