Man suffers fractured eye socket during robbery in Wycombe

A man suffered a fractured eye socket and had a large amount of cash stolen from him during a robbery in High Wycombe.

At approximately 3.45pm on Monday (21th Oct) the victim, a 41 year old man, was on his way to a bank in Cedar Terrace when he was robbed of a large sum of cash.

The offender was described as being a black male, approximately 5ft 10ins, of a strong build and was wearing all dark clothing. He was also said to have been aged in his late thirties or early forties.

As a result of the robbery, the victim sustained a fractured eye socket, and was taken to the Stoke Mandeville Hospital for treatment.

Designated investigator Hannah Hargreaves of the High Wycombe Investigation Hub said:
