The South West Hertfordshire seat could see a change of MP come December 13th.

The constituency which covers Tring and Berkhamsted has been represented by David Gauke since 2005, but he is no longer a Conservative.

So who is standing in the general election this time around?

Here is who we know about so far, in alphabetical order:

Ali Aklakul

Labour Party

David Gauke

David has been MP for the SW Herts area since 2005, but was removed from the Conservative Party over his stance on Brexit.

He decided to run as an independent this time around.

Gagan Mohindra

Chosen to replace Mr. Gauke as the Tories' candidate, Gagan has been a councillor on Essex County and Epping Forest District Councils.

At the moment, he is Cabinet Member for Finance, Property and Housing at Essex CC.

Tom Pashby

The Green Party

Tom is one of the youngest candidates we've had in our patch.

He is based across London, Brighton and Hertfordshire at the moment, describing himself on Twitter as a 'sometime Trance Family DJ' and a one-time dungaree model.

Sally Symington

Liberal Democrats

Sally is currently a borough councillor for Berkhamsted West.

On her Facebook page, Sally says she has a personal interest in helping more women have a voice in politics.
