9-year-old collecting toiletries for kids this Christmas

A young boy from Aylesbury is collecting toiletries for kids who aren't as fortunate this Christmas.

Nathan Ashley Patten is 9-years-old and he will be donating everything he's collected to adoption charity, PACT.

Ash told us why he decided to do it:

"Every Christmas I feel sad because not all children get presents.

"I would like people to keep their toiletries for Christmas and give it to other people.

"Just give don't receive."

PACT - Parents and Children Together - is a family support provider which helps hundreds of families every year through adoption services and therapeutic support across London and the south of England.

His mum Lorena, said PACT has helped Ash throughout his life:

"I'm very proud that he's actually thought of doing this.

"PACT has always helped him through his life as well and I think that's why he feels very close to them.

"I think it's his way of giving back to them.

"Whenever he wants to he can just call PACT and if he wants to do something, they will never say no, they will always say yes."

Aylesbury Tennis Club has a collection point for toiletries, that Ash will pick up before Christmas.

But, he also needs another collection point, if you can help out please get in contact with us.
