Woman seriously injured in Aylesbury crash

A woman in her eighties has been left with serious injuries after a crash in Aylesbury.

At around 12pm on Thursday (14/11) a blue Fiat Punto was involved in a collision with the pedestrian in Berryfield Road.

As a result of the collision, the woman suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

The crash happened on Berryfield Road

The driver of the Punto was not injured.

Investigating officer PC John Belson of the Roads Policing Unit at Amersham, said:

"I am appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to get in touch.

"It was the middle of the day so the incident could be on CCTV in the area too.

"If you saw what happened please contact Thames Valley Police on the non-emergency number 101 or make a report online by quoting URN 502 (14/11).
