Aylesbury's Ellen White nominated for Ballon d'Or

Aylesbury's Ellen White has been nominated for the Women's Ballon D'or award in Paris.

The Ballon d'Or is an association football award presented by France Football to honour the best female association football player.

Ellen has been nominated alongside fellow Lioness Lucy Bronze and a further 18 female players including USA duo Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan.

Ellen tweeted to say how honoured she was to be nominated for the award with the ceremony taking place today in Paris.
