Prisoner absconds from HMP Springhill

A 30-year-old prisoner has absconded from HMP Springhill. 

Jamie Hislop is believed to have disappeared from the jail, in Aylesbury, between 5.30 and 8 o' clock on Wednesday evening. 

He's known to have links to Coventry in the West Midlands.

Thames Valley Police have given his descrption as a white man, approximately 6' 1" with dark hair, blue eyes and a beard. He also has a spider tattoo on his left elbow.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Dale Price, based at Aylesbury police station said:

"I am appealing for information which will help us find Jamie Hislop.

"If you see him, please do not approach him but call 999 instead."

Anyone with information on Mr Hislop's whereabouts is urged to contact police via the non-emergency 101 line.
