Man acquitted of Chesham attempted murder

A man has been found not guilty of an attempted murder in Chesham.

Junaid Nasir, aged 22, of no fixed abode was found not guilty by a majority jury on Monday (16/12) at Aylesbury Crown Court.

It is in connection with an incident in Alexander Street at the junction with Berkhamsted Road in Chesham on Thursday 18 July 2019 at around 1am.

A 20-year-old man suffered a severe leg injury and stab wound. He has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering.
