Man stabbed in High Wycombe

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of GBH in High Wycombe.

It happened at around 2pm on Thursday (26/12) on Priory Road when an altercation broke out between a group of up to 4 men.

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after he sustained a stab injury to his back, believed to have have been caused by a knife.

The man has since been discharged from hospital.

Investigating officer, PC Alexander Trevivian, of High Wycombe police station, said:

“I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, during which the victim sustained a stab wound injury. Luckily the injury was not life threatening and he is now out of hospital.

“If anyone was in the area at this time, and saw or heard anything, I would ask that they come forward and help police with their enquiries.

“This incident happened in a public area, where I believe it’s likely that someone would have seen or heard something.
