Help Aylesbury Vale hospice raise £1 million

Florence Nightingale Hospice is holding a bag-a-bargain event in Aylesbury today.

Visitors can buy a £10 paper bag, provided by Morrisons to reduce plastic waste, and fill it.

Pre-loved fashion will be available for womens, mens, kids and accessories.

The event will be at their furniture showroom on Chamberlain Road in Aylesbury.

In 2020 Nightingale Hospice is hoping to raise £1 million to support their services.

In 2019 fundraising events saw a brilliant £650,000 raised to support the hospice and their team provide care for its users.

Their FNH at home service launched last year which is 24 hour care 7 days a week at a persons home.

This new service is fully funded by the charity, and this commitment means their fundraising is even more important.

Alongside the fill-a-bag sale, there is also a coffee morning with a selection of homemade cakes, goodies and hot drinks will be available.

To reduce cup waste, anybody who purchases a hot drink will receive a mug that has been donated to the hospice.
