Crash causing queues on A41 near Aylesbury

Four people have been hurt in a crash on the A41 near Aylesbury.

There has been a crash at Fleet Marston this morning (Mon).

UPDATE 8.54: Long delays in both directions on the A41, with the road blocked.

Traffic is back to the Cotton Wheel/Jackson Road and up into Waddesdon.

We are now seeing more traffic on the Berryfields Road as traffic avoids the crash, with the crossroads for Quainton particularly busy.

Four cars were involved in the collision, which happened at around 7.15am.

Bucks Fire & Rescue attended, to help South Central Ambulance Service.

Four were injured.

Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient with serious injuries was taken to the major trauma unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Two other patients with less serious injuries (one had injuries to their legs, the other to their back and neck) were taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
