Chesham mum asks for help to lay her daughter to rest

A mum from Chesham is asking for help so she can finally lay her daughter to rest.

Emma Smith lived in Chesham and sadly passed away of a lung infection two years ago.

Emma left behind two children, but unfortunately due to financial difficulties some funeral costs are still outstanding.

This means her ashes are unable to be released until the final payment is settled.

Her mum has now set up a GoFundMe page to help reach the £750 goal to pay off the last of the costs so she can finally be laid to rest.

Wendy is asking for your help:

"If you can spare even just £5 her children would be so grateful.

"Even her own daughter is going to donate, she is only 12 but is donating £20 of her money that she got for Christmas.

"Any little amount would be so gratefully received."

Nearly £300 of the total has already been raised.

You can help them get to £750 they need by donating here.

Update: Thanks to generous donations the family have now surpassed their target.
