Buckinghamshire's new council has set out the draft plan of Revenue Budget and Capital Programme.

Outlined inside are plans that include a raise in council tax.

BC plan to raise the rate 1.99% that's on top of the expected increase of 2% from the Secretary of State, to use for adult social care.

The Adult Social Care Precept of 2% will be levied, which is in line with Government requirements.

The report also covers spending, with renovation and maintenance getting new budgets.

£111 million is being pledge to support economic regeneration in Aylesbury and Wycombe.

Schools, including the new Kingsbrook Secondary school, will be getting a £107 million investment.

Then a new feature last year, The Exchange, has been given a £30m budget for Part 2, but that's not for a few years yet and it isn't clear what will happen just yet.

This draft budget will be reviewed before being presented to the Shadow Executive on February 18th 2020, and then the Shadow Authority February 27th.
