CCTV images released after theft in Aylesbury

Thames Valley Police have released two images after a theft in Aylesbury.

At 12.30pm on Thursday 21st November 2019, the victim, a woman in her seventies had her purse stolen.

The victim had made a withdrawal from a Santander cash point and was then followed by two women. 

They then followed her into Iceland, and stole her purse while she shopped. 

Police believe the two people in the CCTV images could have information to help their investigation. 

Investigating Officer, PC Jeremy Oldroyd, based at Aylesbury police station said:

“If you witnessed this incident, or if you recognise the people in these images or believe it could be you, please get in touch.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
