Tring bar expands into Princes Risborough

A Tring business is expanding again, this time into Princes Risborough.

After opening in 2017 and expanding to Aylesbury in 2018, Craft Yard are opening their third bar in Risborough.

It will be in an old bank bought by the Town Council.

The 1369sq ft site, located at 39 High street, a former NatWest bank, was acquired by the Town Council and has recently undergone some basic refurbishment work to modernise the property including the installation of new shop front and minor internal alterations.

Owners of Craftyard, Darrell Peter & Sarah Cook, are expected to open the doors to the Risborough site in May 2020.

Chairman & Mayor of PRTC Cllr Matthew Walsh said:

"We are one of the first Town Councils in the country to invest in commercial property and as part of our vision & plan for the future of Princes Risborough High Street, despite several offers, were keen to wait and ensure that our future tenant would be of benefit to both residents and visitors alike.

"The night-time economy in Risborough is one that the Council felt could be enhanced, and we are thrilled to have a local family run and established independent business such as Craftyard join us."

Sarah continued:

"We very much look forward to being part of the High Street in Princes Risborough and contributing to the local economy. We pride ourselves on great service whilst bringing a tasting experience of Craft Beer & Craft Gin to remember".
