Teenager arrested after drugs incident at Tring School

Teenager arrested after drugs incident at Tring School

Tring School has confirmed the incident happened on Friday.

Hertforshire Police have confirmed that a 16 year old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Tring School provided us with this comment:

"Tring School can confirm there was an incident in school where a small number of students took a prohibited substance.

"As soon as they became aware of the issue the school Leadership Team called for an ambulance as a precautionary measure, as well as police support.

"All of the students involved are safe."

The school have also said any consequences for the students will be as set out in their schools policy.

They have also said that any further action by police is outside of the schools knowledge or control. 

In a letter we have received sent by the school, parents have been assured the school is taking this matter seriously and that they believe it was an isolated incident.
