The neighbourhood plan for Wendover is facing the public vote today.

The plan looks at land use and development.

Alan Myers is part of the steering committee for it, and is a member of the parish council:

"Its gone through stages and consultations, a questionnaire was sent out to every home in the area. it has now been approved by district council and the inspector. It is now to be approved by the people of Wendover.

"The question is very simple: Do you approve of the plan? Yes or No."

The plan discusses and proposes areas where building could take place.

It also highlights areas where they believe building should not, and in some cases must not, take place in the future.

The plan is available online, Wendover Library and the clock tower.

Voting is at the Memorial Hall from 7am till 10pm tonight.
