Warning over lash extensions in Aylesbury

An Aylesbury based lash artist is calling for the industry to be more regulated.

With the growing trend of people wanting lash extension, Emma McHugh is concerned over the number of people carrying out the treatment without efficient training.

Emma who has recently won three world wide lash competitions said:

"There is so many people out there doing it and from the pictures they are posting its quite clear that the training probably wasn't good enough and I think that's more of the concern, the amount of people training or teaching people to do lash extensions poorly"

Emma also told us what to look for and check before booking the treatment:

"The cleanliness of the work, the most important thing in my opinion is to make sure they're isolated and that means only one lash extension per natural lash. if you got multiple lashes glued to one that's when they cause damage and I think that's why people think lash extensions cause damage when in actual fact its improper training or bad aftercare"

She's also advising you to check numerous pictures of the artists previous work and if you have any reaction to lashes, return to get them removed immediately and seek medical assistance if required.
