Snowdrops bloom in Stowe

'Stowedrop' season is in full bloom.

The snowdrops at Stowe are now in full bloom, known to many as the 'Stowedrops'.

They can be seen through the Elysian Fields, Sleeping Wood and Lamport Garden.

The flowers origin can be traced across the world to Southern Russia, Turkey and Southern Europe

These delicate flowers occurred naturally in the garden and were split and replanted to create a bright snow like display.

For 2020, the National Trust has created a new map and route for visitors.
