Two prisoners in Oxfordshire being tested for coronavirus

Two prisoners are being tested for the coronavirus in Oxfordshire.

Inmates at HMP Bullindgon, on the border Buckinghamshire, are being tested for the virus.

The two men are being kept isolated in their cells.

The partner of an inmate has told Mix96 they believe a prisoner who had been deported from Thailand was removed from the prison for testing.

They are being told a 72 lockdown has been put in place.

However, the inmate has said they are worried for the wardens and guards who are not isolated in cells.

Visitors have been restricted, including legal representation which could cause disruptions to upcoming trials.
