Live event

David is in charge of Data and Digital Delivery at BCC:

"Today is to showcase some of the new and emerging technology we are going to be installing within the Fairford Leys area.

If we are resurfacing a road why aren't we looking at what other technology we can put in at the same time.

"The point of this programme is to trial some technologies that we wouldn't usually have the budget to do so, and to trial these and see what is successful and what is not."

Bike Live event

Mark Shaw is cabinet member for transportation at Bucks County Council:

"We are seeing so much building happen in Aylesbury already and we've really got to look at the future.

"Potholes are still really important but its about looking to the future, what we can do, how we can make peoples lives better. So its really good that we here in Aylesbury are at the heart of that."
