School in Buckingham helped out with library refurbishment

A school in Buckingham have become the first in a long time to get a grant for a charitable trust.

After several years of dormancy, the Buckingham & Gawcott Charitable Trust is once again in a position to offer microgrants of up to £2,000 to organisations for projects that benefit the people of Buckingham and Gawcott.

The first grant to be agreed was to Buckingham Primary School's PTA for new seating for their Library, which is being refurbished.

The cheque was handed over by the Trust Chairman, Cllr. Robin Stuchbury, to Mrs. Sue Fish of the PTA on Friday 14th February 2020 at the school.

Organisations who would like to apply for grants should get in touch with the Clerk, Mrs K. McElligott katharinemce@hotmail.com or 01280 815409 for a copy of the criteria for eligibility.
