Chesham man sentenced over drug supply

Chesham man sentenced over drug supply

A man has been sentenced for drugs supply in Chesham. 

Mohibur Rahman pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply a class B drug and one count of possession of a criminal property at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday (18/02).

He was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison. 

Mohibur, aged 31, of Highfield Road, Chesham, was arrested and charged on January 14th. 

Following a search carried out at an address in Highfield Road, Chesham, found a large quantity of cannabis and cash.

Investigating officer, PC Harley Richardson, based at Amersham police station said:

“Rahman had a significant role in the supply of drugs across Chesham and the neighbouring areas.

“He profited considerable amounts of cash from the crimes he committed which has been recovered along with the controlled substances.

“This sentence highlights the seriousness of supplying drugs and Thames Valley Police’s commitment through the Stronghold campaign to tackling these offences.”
