'Lots' of jewellery taken in Aylesbury burglary

A house has been broken into in Aylesbury.

Thieves broke into the home on Craigwell Avenue on Bedgrove on Tuesday.

The burglary happened some time between 8.45am and 2.30pm.

Offenders gained entry to the house via the rear patio doors.

The victims have shared photos of the scene they came home to.

Once inside the offenders stole lots of jewellery and handbags.

An appeal has gone out to track down the stolen items:

Investigating officer PC Carolyn Bailey P6284, based at Aylesbury police station, said:

"We are appealing for anyone who may have witnesses the incident or who may have information to call our 24 hours enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43200064883

"If you don’t wish to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111

"No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court."
