Last ever full council meeting for BCC

After over 130 years, today is the last ever full council meeting for Buckinghamshire County Council.

The plan for the meeting is to reflect on achievements of recent months and years.

It comes before the county and districts merge to become Buckinghamshire Council in April.

Cabinet members will reflect on topics like economic growth, HS2 and social care as they get ready for the new council.

Today's meeting is taking place at The Gateway

When it takes over, not much will change except the logo and a few contact details, but the idea is that more savings will be realised over the coming years.

Today's meeting will take place at The Oculus at The Gateway - currently AVDC's home but soon to be where senior management for the Bucks Council will be based.
