CCTV images released after Aylesbury robbery

Following a robbery in Aylesbury last week CCTV images have been released. 

Thames Valley Police have shared images of three men they would like to speak to in relation to a robbery last week. 

The victim, an 87 year old man, had left Paddy Power bookmakers and was walking along Granville street when he was attacked. 

The offender or offenders approached him from behind and hit him over the head, causing him to fall to the floor face first. 

His wallet, containing a bank card and £10, was then stolen. 

The victim suffered a cranial bleed, extensive swelling to the right side of his face and some teeth were knocked out due to the fall.

Investigator Hannah Mitchell of Aylesbury CID, said:

“We are appealing again for any information about this incident, which left an elderly man with serious injuries. Today we are releasing images of three men who we think could have vital information about this.

“If you recognise these men, please get in touch as we need to make contact with them as soon as possible.

“If you witnessed the offence, or have any other details which you think could help us track down those responsible, please calling the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 43200090463.”
