Aylesbury foodbank needs extra storage space

Aylesbury foodbanks are asking for help storing the donations.

Last week we shared with an appeal from foodbanks in Aylesbury who were struggling, now they need help storing your generous donations.

Items like fresh vegetables and bread need to be frozen so that they don't spoil before they can be given to those in need.

Storehouse Aylesbury has asked for freezer space to store the fresh food being donated.

They have said this could be done through one of the following ways:

  •  Donate money for Storehouse to buy freezers and food supplies.
  • Freezer van owners loaning the van to use.
  • Freezer manufacturers/companies selling appliances to donate one.

Those able to help are asked to please contact them at storehouse@aylesburyvineyard.org or call and leave a message 01296 424 440.
