Man arrested in Aylesbury for multiple offences

A 32 year old man has been arrested in Aylesbury for multiple offences. 

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation a man has been arrested today (02/04) on suspicion of drug, weapon and restriction of movement offences.

Following a stop and search of a driver in a vehicle on Tring Road, Aylesbury, a knife was found and a drug wipe was taken, which was positive for cannabis.

The 32 year-old man from Birmingham was arrested for the following offences:

  • Suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
  • Possession of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis/cannabis resin).
  • Possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
  • Contravening the requirement as to the restriction of movement during the Coronavirus emergency period.
  • Using a vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance.
  • Driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
  • And committing an act/series of acts with intent to pervert the course of justice.

He remains in custody at this time.
