Risborough couple set up 'Lockdown Karaoke' to raise funds for NHS

A Risborough couple have come up with a way to keep us all entertained and raise funds for the NHS.

Gail Casson has started a Lockdown Karaoke group on Facebook so that people can upload videos of themselves singing while they stay at home to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

There are already 300 members of the group with people posting everything from Dance Monkey to Baby Shark!

Everyone involved is being encouraged to donate to the Just Giving page that Gail has set up, which raises money for the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust Charitable Fund.

Gail came up with the idea with her partner Lee:

"We just thought it would be a fabulous idea, kids and adults get to sing on the page and everyone really enjoys it

"It's something fun to do while staying at home and it's raising money for Bucks Healthcare NHS

"We just want people to keep singing, having fun and raising money"

Here's an example of one of the videos on the page:
